Vercelli is a family run Italian Restaurant situated in the centre of Hexham, a busy market town in Northumberland. The family, all from the Hexham area, have worked hard over the last 6 years to modernise the cocktail bar and restaurant. All the family are involved in the business, with the aim of providing a memorable experience.

Lucy, Restaurant Manager, enjoys working alongside the enthusiastic team who have built a relationship with their returning customers and welcoming new, with an aim to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable throughout.

Executive chef, Jordan, and Head chef, Scott, source the finest Italian provisions to produce high quality Italian dishes with a modern twist.

At the front of the restaurant is a small, modern cocktail bar which hosts live music nights regularly but can be enjoyed for a bite to eat or a drink any night of the week.

The family pride themselves on supporting the local community, businesses and charities to invest in the area they proudly call home.

OUR KITCHEN

Our kitchen team work hard on creating the perfect modern Italian restaurant with a popular and trendy menu. Our menu boasts a selection of traditional, family favourite, Italian dishes such as Spaghetti Bolognese, Margarita Pizza's or try something different! Best sellers at Vercelli are our Pizza Nduja, Fettuccini Manzo or Chicken Pomodorro!

Jordan, Scott, Lewis & the rest of the kitchen team work well together to make sure their menus suit all likes & dislikes as well as dietary requirements and allergies! Our Vegan menu has recently been expanded to ensure that all customers have a wide selection of dishes!

OUR BAR

Our bar area is the perfect place for pre/post dinner drinks, a catch up with friends over a few cocktails or to enjoy our bottomless lunch served on Saturday's!

Our well stocked bar has the perfect combination of wines, sparkling, beers & ciders, spirits, soft drinks, coffees and most importantly cocktails & mocktails! If you love a cocktail or two, we are the place for you - providing lots of traditional cocktails and some quirky ones for people looking to try something a bit different each hand selected by members of our team! If your favourite cocktail isn't on our menu, ask a member of the team to see if we can create something similar!
