Vercelli Restaurant is a family run Italian Restaurant situated in the centre of Hexham, a busy market town in Northumberland. The family, all from around the Hexham area, have worked hard over the last 4 years to modernise the cocktail bar and restaurant. All the family are involved in the business, with the aim of providing a memorable experience.

Sue, Front of House Manager, enjoys working alongside the enthusiastic team who have built a relationship with their returning customers and welcoming new, with an aim to make your experience relaxing and memorable throughout.

Executive chef, Jordan, and Head chef, Scott, source the finest Italian provisions to produce high quality Italian dishes with a modern twist.

At the front of the restaurant is a small, modern cocktail bar which hosts live music nights regularly but can be enjoyed for a bite to eat or a drink any night of the week.

The family pride themselves on supporting the local community, businesses and charities to invest in the area they proudly call home.

Our Restaurant is perfect for all occasions big or small, with stunning bi folding doors onto our garden it is perfect in the summer too!

THE BAR

Along side our very busy Italian restaurant we also have a relaxing cocktail bar by day but perfect for events at night.

We offer a wide range of cocktails ranging from a classic Mojito to something a bit different like our very popular Raspberry Gin Fizz.

WE ARE OPEN!

From 19th July 2021:

The government are to remove all social distancing restrictions. Therefore from this date we hope that we no longer need to limit the number of people or households per table.

​

Despite the relaxation of the rules our staff will still wear PPE and we will continue to advise customers to check in using the NHS track and trace app.

​

Our booking system is open for any bar and restaurant bookings with fully flexible or refundable policy if a forced closure was to impact your stay.
